PTTW, May 18-20 2012, is a event that brings together Parrot Heads from all areas of the country to enjoy a weekend of phun and entertainment in Laughlin, NV. Repeatedly nominated as The Margarita Mafia’s best Trop-Rock event, this year promises to be the best ever!

Title: BOreD Election Nominations Due 1 APRIL 2012!!! Location: President, Secretary, Community Affairs, Membership Description: Election Nominations
1. All nominees must be a Parrot Head Club of Eastern Massachusetts member in good standing for one year from the nomination deadline of April 1st and active with a minimum of six Parrot Points.
2. Nominees must return to the Vice President, a completed and signed nomination form and a single page resume (including biography) no later than April 1st via the United States Postal Service or e-mail. Nomination forms postmarked / time-stamped after April 1st shall be considered invalid.
3. All paper forms must be signed by the nominee. All e-mail forms must come from the nominee’s e-mail address on file with the club. The Official Nomination form, available on the website or from the BOreD, may be reproduced in its entirety for additional nominees but may not be altered. Altered paper Nomination forms and incomplete e-mail forms are invalid and will not be accepted. Failure to comply with any of these requirements will result in an invalid submission and the nominee will not become a candidate.

December draws near and that means the Jolly Jaunt is also soon upon us. Mark your calendars for Sunday, December 4, 2011 and join us as we assist in our annual food coordination, pick up, set up and light clean up at the Beverly Hospital at Danvers beginning at 9:00 AM. PHCOEM volunteers (with vehicles) are needed in this keet-friendly event to benefit Special Olympics. Two Parrot Points will be awarded to members who can give of their time for a worthy cause on December 4th.

Arrrgghhh! PHCOEM West of West presents “On Stranger Rides”, the 2011 PHCOEM Poker Run. It all starts at 11AM at the 140 Pub Rendezvous, 344 Redemption Rock Trail, Sterling, MA 01564. It all winds up at Tonga Tam’s in Princeton. We’ll have all kinds of fun and surprises along your journey, so make sure to sign-up and join the adventure!
Gather your team of 2-6 players (you must have a designated driver!), register your team and join the fun! It’s only $10 per person and includes all the adventure and a fantastic party after with Trop Rock artist Chris Sacks!

July 11th – Parrot Head Night at Lowell Spinners Baseball Game – Lowell (Parrot Points Awarded)

July 16th – Special Olympics Softball Games – Framingham – 9:30am (Parrot Points Awarded)
We are doing our Famous Cheeseburger luncheon with all the fixing’s. The games will be held at a few different schools. The BBQ and awards ceremony will take place at Walsh Middle School.
DIRECTIONS:

Mass Pike to Exit 13, Rte 30. Go West on Rte 30 toward Framingham. Turn Rte onto Rte 126. Bear left, staying on Rte 126. Turn left onto Summer Street. Turn right onto Central Street. Turn left onto Wickford Road. Turn right onto Anderson. Turn left onto Brook Street.
July 23rd – Annual Membership Pool Party – Duffill Home – Danvers 2pm – ? (Parrot Points Awarded) FUN FUN FUN !!! John and Jean have opened their pool and yard to us for this great event. Bring your own food, drinks, chair, towels, and SUNBLOCK ! The grill will be going. The ice cream truck will be visiting at 3:00.
DIRECTIONS:
Route 128 North to Exit 22W (Route 62 West). At the light at the end of the (very long) ramp, turn right. Go under the highway. Turn right onto State Road (it looks like you’re going back onto Route 128 – but you’re not). Follow to the yield sign. Bear right onto Conant Street. Pass the ice cream stand. The Duffill’s house is on the right.
August 4th – PHCOEM THIRSTDAY 7-9pm (Parrot Points Awarded)
We will be collecting school backpacks and supplies for students in all locations
August 6th – Pan Mass Challenge Water Station – Wrentham – 7:30am (Parrot Points Awarded)
We will be water Parrot Heads for the more than 2000 cyclists that ride from Sturbridge to Provincetown, 192 miles over 2 Days, to raise money for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Jimmy Fund. We need Parrothead Cheerleaders and traffic cops to help cheer on the riders at the Wrentham water stop. Dress in your phinest parrothead attire. Set up begins at 7:30am (sorry), and the first riders will arrive around 8:30am. We will be finished with clean up around 11:30am.
