Prez Update

As the summer starts to come to an end and school begins for some starting next Monday, we start heading into the fall. There are fun and exciting things happening this fall including our event the Tri-Club Miniature Golf Tournament. What a better way to spend a saturday then enjoying a round of miniature golf, some raffles and a cookout with a DJ. Bring your family, your friends or just sign up for yourself and come have PHUN with us. It's a great way to de-stress from the first couple weeks of school.

We have other events coming up soon that we would love to see you at. We have a Halloween party that will be at the Portuguese club in Milford with the same arrangement with the Holiday Inn Express that we have had for our previous Holiday Hangover events. We'll be drawing the winning ticket for the $1,000.00 worth of scratch tickets.

These two events are for seed money for our convention committees to help prepare for the convention in 2020. So the more we get to participate the better our convention could be because we'll be able to help out the committees.

We have the beach clean-up in Plymouth on Sat - Sept 29th - rain or shine. Then the brewery and winery tours after the event. So all are welcome to come help make our shoreline clean.

We have suicide walk Out of the Darkness Oct 7th, down in CT. We cheer on Team Mikey. We'd love to have you join us.

We also have the SOMA Sr. Sports Games on Sat Oct 13th down in Barnstable. Always a PHUN time.

We have the Springfield Boys & Girls Club Festival of Trees again this year. It will be our 9th year of donating a tree. The theme is Paradise by the Sea - so anything beachy will be greatly appreciated. If you want to help with creating and decorating the tree you are very welcome to join us.

Holiday Torch Run for LETR is Sunday Dec 2, and we can always use folks help with picking up food for this great event.

Last but not least to close out the year we have Wreaths Across America at the Bourne Veteran's Cemetery in Bourne Mass with lunch afterwards at a great restaurant. It is a moving tribute to all that have given their lives for our freedom. Something I think everyone should do at least once in their lives.
